"Living with Truth is Living with God" has three aspects.
1. Examine fully in detail the Truth about you personally in the situation(s) you are dealing with. It could be any situation. 2. Observe fully the truth about the other person you are interacting with. 3. Observe the truth about the situation you are dealing with.
Here is a sharing by an active self-discovery practitioner. She shared her experience in a group that meets at least once a month for the whole day to discuss, understand and feel the miracles of the self-connection. In a live situation where she is a mother and she has a rough situation to resolve with a son. She didn't react in haste. Rather she bought time and started to observe the truth in her e.g. she wanted to resolve the situation in a peaceful way and also peaceful for her son. She also perceived the truth that son was in turmoil, putting Mom in turmoil. He is obstinate, wants to have his own way. Mom sees the truth in her that she cannot afford to react to him. Something is telling her to be quiet and wait. The truth about the situation is that there is heated discussion and there is lot of turmoil
Just within a day, the mother was able to go into inner silence and separate herself from the whole situation. As a detached observer she could see the truth in all three facets (herself, son and situation). In detachment/separation from herself and the other two interacting segments, she let the truth (as it is) flow effortlessly into her. This experience empowered her greatly and she could see the whole picture clearly. She was then guided from within to deal with it in a peaceful and loving way and came out as a winner. No one had to lose. Everyone was a winner. This mode of responding in peacefulness and truthfulness is becoming a way of life for her and for many others in the group.
Once you have got this key you have established the truth about you, the other person(s) and the situation. It will lead you to answers from within. Doing according to those inner prompts and letting go is a part of the total truth. In so doing you are living with God. The more you do the more you are with God till one fine day you find you are totally with God. That's the total union. These are the experiences of truth, awareness and celebration. A person just keeps going and the inner spirit is guiding all the way. We don't need to attach any label to it. It is a pretty romantic, joyful and powerful mode to understand, feel and practice in day to day affairs of life. This is ongoing living with God. |
