Freedom-Determinism and Awareness
In simple words:
Doing something that one truly likes from one's heart and soul is freedom. Such
an action is the manifestation of one's intrinsic free will/aspiration(s). As
this freedom is experiential, It IS the reality as is. May be that's why Truth
and freedom are kind of synonymous in their basic nature. This individual
reality varies from person to person and it cannot be enforced as one common
realty to all other people.
Determinism is the belief in the doctrine that the Creator/God in consequence of
its foreknowledge of all events infallibly guides those who are destined for
salvation.
One major difference between these two aspects is that freedom is a reality and
determinism is a belief. A belief is an individual hope that may or may not turn
out to be a reality in action. In freedom one knows, in determinism one believes
and may not know exactly unless one is fully in tune with the creator/God from
whom the guidance is destined to come.
However, in our in-depth connection with the creator and its creations, the
essence of life is a common link to both the real freedom and determinism. We
can talk about it, read about it, get some blessings about it. But we will not
get a real in-depth experience/understanding about it till we are in it. This is
the way I understand about this common link. Thanks.
Awareness
In my understanding, if "Awareness" is joined with determinism, it becomes
freedom. The major ingredients of such an awareness are:
1. Rational Analysis.
2. More of observation and less of involvement.
3. Co-creation of aspirations.
4. Let Go after doing one's level best.
5. Starting Fresh--very morning is a fresh start and every day is a new
beginning.
As a recap:
Determinism + Awareness = Freedom
Freedom + Awareness = Joy
Awareness seems to be the hub of human evolution. All there is. is awareness.it
appears that way---it feels that way..and is that way.
