The Whole Aspires Wholesomeness
The whole that we individually are wants to be whole in all aspects!!! What does it clearly mean to us in our day to day living? Can we feel this statement within us and know what exactly it is saying to us. In any case it is a yearning for ‘completeness’ in all aspects of our living. In its essence it is aspiring for the original nature of truth/freedom, awareness and joyfulness to prevail in all aspects of living. And it is important to really know this inner prompt. By its basic interpretation this is also saying that there are some deficiencies in some aspects (if not all aspects) that something unique within us is pointing us towards. These deficiencies could be in health, wealth, wisdom, relationships, connection..etc. Also this simply means that our system of body, senses, mind and intellect is required to do more for us particularly in those areas where we lack in some way. And this system is optimal when it works in conjunction with the Synergy that sustains the whole universe. Here are seven si mple keys to manifest our heart/ soul-felt aspirations as follows:
1. Allowing : Open yourself completely without any prejudice and conditioning to this yearning. Embrace it and let it happen to you. Nothing is going to happen if you don’t truly invite it to happen to you. Let it be a fresh start. Stay away from any beliefs, superstitions, dogmas, rituals, limitations and concepts that stand in the way of your opening and embracing this intrinsic yearning.
2. Feeling : What you invite you must feel its emotional presence in you as a part of your being. Just allowing it to happen to you is not enough. Feel in your original nature that intrinsically you are a truthful/free, an aware and joyful person. You are not here to suffer. Without this kind of feeling it shall be just an intellectual gym.
3. Knowing: It is also important to know what it is and what it is not. Make sure this is what you really aspire and make sure you know what it does to you. Having known that part, it is now important to know how to go about it, what to do, what not to do and other relevant aspects of making your aspiration real in day to day living. In addition to intellectual knowing, consistent contemplation in one’s own silence is the best source of spontaneous effortless knowing
4. Realizing: This is a visualization zone in-between knowing and doing so that you could envision its happening by doing things as you know above. This is your own personal realization (not others realizations/quotations) that having manifested your unique aspiration of wholesomeness, it is going to gradually bring wholesomeness to you; physically, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and universally.
5. Doing: Now is the time to move to actually doing it. And this is doing things with complete awareness all along as realized above. Synergy is consistently evolving to manifest more of what is available and we need to keep pace with its evolution. That’s why ‘awareness’ is central to all we do. Just in silently talking to ourselves in a humble way, but also a persistent way, we realize that there is a part of us which does respond to the greater awareness. And we need to be friends with this greater awareness all along in all aspects of our doing.
6. Freeing: Having done our level best, we should now be very careful that we don’t get deeply attached to the outcomes of our actions. We need to free ourselves from such possessiveness as in the orchestration of the synergy ( from which we have all manifested), there are infinite possibilities without any time and space constraints. The freer we are the more connected we are to such infinite opportunities. Emptying the mind of its contents at least once a day and starting fresh with renewed awareness is moving towards freedom. Meditation given in the end is quite helpful in this regard
7. Inter-connecting: All there is is Synergy and we are all connected with all. However, this inter-connection is best realized as we are free in our thoughts, feelings, actions and relationships. Wholesomeness and inter-connection go hand in hand.
Wholesomeness Meditation
Here is a simple basic 10 minutes meditation that helps considerably towards being wholesome and you can do it daily as many times as you like. Be consistent.
1. Observe your incoming and outgoing breath approx. 3 minutes. Observing breath is observing life.
2. Mentally say and feel the presence of "Synergy" within each incoming and outgoing breath...approx. 3minutes.
3. Mentally say , "I AM" and feel the essence of your original nature....3 minutes.
4. "Just Be"......1 minute and observe what is happening to you.
When we gently, however, consistently keep the above mentioned seven keys in the forefront of our attention and we meditate regularly, we would also notice that our system of body-senses-mind-intellect is consistently capable of manifesting more than it has done in the past without these realizations. And whatever needs to be done at all levels we know it more clearly and then follow it through in a fashion consistent with the seven steps described above.
